Singapore Tunnel Project

    The construction of transmission cable tunnels is a long-term solution for future power supply. It will allow us to efficiently install and quickly replace underground cables to meet the growing demand for electricity supply. The construction of the cable tunnel infrastructure will begin in 2013 and is scheduled to be completed in 2018. Upon completion, the cable tunnel will ensure the reliability and safety of Singapore’s power grid, making Singapore’s power grid one of the best performing networks in the world.
