Offshore Platform
An offshore platform, or oil drilling platform, is a large-scale structural facility located on the sea for drilling and extracting oil and natural gas, and temporarily storing it until the oil is transported to an onshore refinery to crack the crude oil into a product. In many cases, the platform contains mining facilities and residential areas for labor. According to different situations, the platform can be fixed to the seabed, it may be an artificial island, or it may float on the sea.
